Keep moving to keep stable

Out in the open, what could be better.

There is a lot of leisure time and a lot of walking.

The perfect solitude of being on the South Downs and enjoying those glorious views.

Most of my walking is with the local Ramblers groups although, at times, I can be found walking with Footprints or the Horsham Health Walks.

The highlight of my walking year is in June when I take part in the Annual South Downs Way Walk

2018 will be my 6th trip along the National Trail.

My exploits along the South Downs Way are covered in that section of the site that bears that name. There is so much to enjoy and describe on this spectacularly glorious 100+ mile trail.

In due course, the Walking section will cover the days I spend out with the local walking groups and also when I am out there alone.

There may soon be an area which links to my “page” on the very useful plotaroute.com site

I wandered lonely as a cloud

That floats on high o’er vales and hills

From Safety to Where  . . .
