Keep moving to keep stable

Out in the open, what could be better.

There is a lot of leisure time and a lot of walking.

The perfect solitude of being on the South Downs and enjoying those glorious views.

Most of my walking is with the local Ramblers group although, at times, I can be found walking with Footprints or the Horsham Health Walks.

The highlight of my walking year is in June when I take part in the Annual South Downs Way Walk

2017 will be my 5th trip along the National Trail.

This area of the site is mainly taken up with my exploits along the South Downs Way. There is so much to describe on this 100+ mile trail.

Further sections will, in time, cover the time I spend with other walking groups and also when I am out alone.

There will also be area which links to my “page” on the very useful plotaroute.com site

I wandered lonely as a cloud

That floats on high o’er vales and hills
